With a Bachelor of Nursing and a Graduate Certificate in Women’s and Children’s Health, Mar is passionate about women’s health and providing compassionate, patient-centred care.

As our Practice Nurse, she assists the doctors with procedures, supports patients, provides post-operative follow-up care, and is always happy to answer questions and offer reassurance along the way.

Alongside her role in the practice, Mar continues to work in theatre as an Anaesthetic Nurse in public and private hospitals, where she occasionally works alongside A/Prof Lam and the wider surgical team. This experience has given her a strong understanding of every stage of a patient’s journey, from preparing for surgery through to recovery, allowing her to provide knowledgeable and reassuring support throughout their care.
